Amusement From Above: Christmastime Is All Done

Time to take all the festiveness down. Can’t I just leave all this crap up for next year?

This Christmas was spent in Boulder (for the 6th year in a row – seriously, I will go back to MI to spend Xmas with my family, sometime here). The sister/brother-in-law + kids, in Singapore, did not come out this year. But thanks to new webcams and Skype, we were all able to see each other and chat. So with the In-Laws and J’s oldest brother and his family, we had a fun busy Christmas. It took 6 hours to open all the gifts.

Excessive.

I was certainly spoiled this year: a new 80gig video iPod, fancy low-carb convection bread maker, a digital picture frame, clothes, books, cds, games and other toys. See below

J really liked the gifts I gave him – phew. I find it incredibly hard to shop for him.

Sadly, all this blasted snow has caused some delays so we STILL do not have all the gifts my family sent to us.

New Years – not really worth talking about this year. Oh but apparently, I’m preggers. J’s Dad called up wanting to know why we didn’t tell the family this.

Um, maybe because it’s not true! On Christmas day, my sister-in-law and I were discussing kiddies and my mother-in-law overheard things, which she thought were very pointed questions and answers. So, it was determined that I have a bun in the oven.

J told me that when his Dad called, for a second there, he thought maybe I was and he was the LAST to know.

Hahahaha.

I love family gossip and rumors.
