Ill and Just A Little More Sick
I think I've made my husband very happy.
I cannot talk.
Things started out on Tuesday night, humm, I'm not feeling very well. Wednesday, I couldn't talk. I didn't have a sore throat, just no voice. Despite all this, we still did our V-day crap. It was MY year to plan something (last year J took me to London - wish I could have done that again this year).
I booked us massages and pedicures. Yes, a pedicure for my man, oh so very manly, man. Guess what, he liked it.
I was feelin' ok - went to T&M's for a gourmet dinner. Chocolate martini's and all.
Thursday, not doing so well. Went into work late and left early. Didn't go to work yesterday either. Horribly sore throat, but no runny nose or anything else. I hope I don't have Strep throat. I've never had it before so I don't know what it's like. But right now my throat is KILLING ME.
I've taken 1/2 bottle of Tylenol Cold and Flu Sore Throat blue nasty shit. It helps briefly then just leaves me with that cold med hangover.
Been drinking Lemsip up the ying/yang. (Lemsip is this English powder mix -add hot water and suger - it makes everything ok again, sort of. ) But I cannot feel my tongue. Good sign? I think not. I am almost out of Lemsip, but thankfully, the In-Laws are going back to England in a few weeks, so they can bring me several, several boxes back. Phew.
Thinking on this, not sure if you can mix paracetamol and Acetaminophen, but I am. So far, I am still breathing. Sort of. Depsite the numb tongue.
So, until I can talk and am not drugged up so much, postings/comments/emails will be limited. Really, it just hurts to sit upright.
Oh! Big news for Bex though. I've finally ordered my laptop (Should be here in a week or so) and I can finally update this site, other than the weblog, finish all my photos and just have my OWN SPACE again! This does make things a bit better.
