Let's Play "Who can get rid of the hangover first"
Last night, was great. Dinner and drinks at the Rio - yum. Ok, I am slow in drinking my margs but whoa, they hit me hard and fast. Kath, Keri, Richard, Sara, Margaret, Sarah, John, Micah, Tees, and the hubs, all helped me celebrate my 21st (+7) birthday. It was great that (most) everyone could come out and party it up. After the Rio, a group of us headed over to the Purple Martini on the 29th street mall. We somehow got the VIP area and drinking many, many more drinks. Lots of dancing (which included the sprinkler, car wash, shopping cart moves) and chatting to weird guys, occurred. Ok, does anyone find it weird that in the ladies room, where a mirror usually is, above the sink, is an open wall into the mens room? Basically, you wash your hands and look up to see a guy at the sinks too. Interesting.
The end result of all this was a bunch of really drunk people. I believe us girls dragged James down some cement steps and along the sidewalk, in order to get him to the car. Once home, the 4 of us laid out on the loft floor, talking, about what? Who knows. I've no idea how long we were there, but when I came to, it was 4am. Tees had sobered up by now and was able to get home.
Anyway, thanks to everyone that came out, and to Kath for getting and hold a table for us. I blame the hubs, entirely, for us being late.
