At a Charity Event
(this past weekend, in Boulder)
I was monitoring the Auction Table – therefore standing up. Later on, this is what happens:
(I am sitting in a chair)
Old Boulderite: Wow, you’re a lot shorter sitting down
Me: *Blank Stare*
I mean, what am I supposed to say to such a clever comment?

I prefer the *Polite Stare*
Except that most people who receive it don't think it is polite.
"Funny, you are a lot taller when I'm sitting down, shorty."
