Amusement From Above

Since, being back home, things have been up and down, left and right, here and there. I cannot say if this pattern of chaos will continue. I hope that it doesn't.

We've both recovered from our travel illness (no, it wasn't Bird Flu, SARS or Dengue Fever, phew). I then found out that my Gov't contract job was awarded to another company. Sweet. I now have a month to find something. Whether it be continue with the Gov job elsewhere, find a new job completely or find something here, where I've been for - close to - the last 7 years. James had been very supportive of al this. "Bex, just find a job that you like doing, the money shouldn't really be your main concern, just be happy". I liked this.

I think I have some options. I hope these options are the right ones. I don't always do well with making decisions because I don't know which one is RIGHT. Obviously, I cannot see the future and know which is the right decision to make, but if I could, it would make my life a whole lot easier.

Last week, James made it to the Mens 4.0 final of the Colorado State Tennis Open! He played well at the tournament and we were at the Gates Tennis Center 6 days in a row. Luckily, the tennis courts were right across the street from Cherry Creek mall. I was very proud of him in getting so far in the tournament and playing so well! His finals opponent was a Lleyton Hewitt wannabe. This made for some loud and colourful tennis.

This week is the Broomfield Open ... J won his match on Sunday, so it all begins again! At least these courts are much closer.
